Summary

Tanjiro sets out on the path of the Demon Slayer to save his sister and avenge his family！

4/5 Stars。 （%79/100）After many sacrifices， the Upper Moons are finally gone and the remaining demon slayers try to help others killing Muzan。 This is the very final battle in the manga。 Tanjirou is heavily injured and sees himself together with Yoriichi。 He spends time with him in order to learn the origin of Hinokami Kagura as well as the Sun Breathing。 I previously mentioned that I love Yoriichi's character a lot。 The first chapter in this volume （Chapter 179） is probably one of my favourites 4/5 Stars。 （%79/100）After many sacrifices， the Upper Moons are finally gone and the remaining demon slayers try to help others killing Muzan。 This is the very final battle in the manga。 Tanjirou is heavily injured and sees himself together with Yoriichi。 He spends time with him in order to learn the origin of Hinokami Kagura as well as the Sun Breathing。 I previously mentioned that I love Yoriichi's character a lot。 The first chapter in this volume （Chapter 179） is probably one of my favourites in the whole series。 We finally learn about the fight between Yoriichi and Muzan as well as a closure for Yoriichi's character。 Great volume in general， loved reading it。 There will be two more volumes and then the manga will be finally completed。 Thus， before the end of 2020， we will finally see the ending。 。。。more

This isn’t officially out yet， but I read chapters 178-187 individually and I’m assuming these will be the chapters in this volume。 I was still crying while I read this。 Chapter 178 was painful to read。 This was more than a fight; it was about brotherly bonds。 Muichiro and Yuichiro。 Sanemi and Genya。 Yoriichi and Michikatsu。 How did the bonds between these brothers set them on the paths they were on and what led them to this day？ （view spoiler）[Sanemi’s final words with Genya hurt my heart immen This isn’t officially out yet， but I read chapters 178-187 individually and I’m assuming these will be the chapters in this volume。 I was still crying while I read this。 Chapter 178 was painful to read。 This was more than a fight; it was about brotherly bonds。 Muichiro and Yuichiro。 Sanemi and Genya。 Yoriichi and Michikatsu。 How did the bonds between these brothers set them on the paths they were on and what led them to this day？ （view spoiler）[Sanemi’s final words with Genya hurt my heart immensely。 He sacrificed so much to save his brother， and now he was watching him disintegrate before his very eyes。 His last remaining family member gone because of a different brother and the jealousy he allowed to consume him and set him on this path。 My poor babies。 If Sanemi survives I’m not sure how he’ll recover from this， or if he even will。 Perhaps he will allow himself to have the life he wanted for Genya。 Marry and have kids， enjoy a peaceful life free of demons。 Genya leaves him with the fact that he doesn’t regret anything， and that he was happy to protect Sanemi until the end。 Cue the tears。 My poor sweet， angry baby。Muichiro’s vision hurt too。 Dead at the hands of his ancestor， he reunites with his brother in the afterlife。 They bicker at first， but Muichiro reveals that he does not regret a single thing。 He made friends and found worthy allies。 His life may have been cut short by great tragedy， but it was a fulfilling one。 He sacrificed himself so that his friends could survive。 Without him they would have died。 His sword turning red was surprising。 Is it something only those who have their mark appear can do？ I hope to get more answers to this in the coming chapters。 Muichiro passes away at peace with himself， but that doesn’t make it any better for me。 He was my smol baby and he was only 14。 I wish he could have lived a longer life and gotten to live as a normal teenager。 （hide spoiler）]We also finally reach the final battle with Muzan。 His final form looks like the child of Michael Jackson and Doc Ock。 It’s quite gross。 Giyuu and Tanjiro are the first to come across him and immediately engage in battle， but they are barely able to keep up with him。 Things are going south until Obanai and Mitsuri arrive to help。 Even then， it is still difficult to land a hit on Muzan。 Tanjiro gets knocked out and while the hashiras continue fighting he appears to be having a flashback of sorts。 We learn more about the first breath of the sun and also about Tanjiro’s own ancestry。 While he struggles with his own internal conflict Gyoumei and Sanemi arrive to save the day！ Hopefully。 Somehow everyone must stay alive long enough for sunrise so Muzan can die。 Nezuko also seems to be on her way。 Will she be able to help？It’s clear the end is near and I’m scared for my remaining babies。 I’m not sure how many more deaths I can take。 This can’t be another Akame Ga Kill or Attack on Titan！ Please 😭RIP smol baby and sweet， angry baby。 I love you two。 。。。more
